HECIOS provides an extensible simulation package well-suited for performing quantitative evaluation of research topics in parallel I/O.
ReaSE is an open-source network simulation framework for OMNeT++. ReaSE is able to create realistic simulation environments with respect to hierarchical network topologies, self-similar background traffic, and attack traffic based on real attack tools. more...
SimSANs, Simulating Storage Area Networks, is a Data Center Storage Networking design and simulation tool. It is especially useful in infrastructure design and performance analysis of modern Fibre Channel (and FCoE) based data center storage networks.
The main goal of SIMCAN is to simulate large complex storage networks. Moreover, with this simulator, high performance applications can be modelled in large distributed environments. Thus, SIMCAN can be used for evaluating and predicting the impact of high performance applications on overall system performance.
The goal of this project is to implement Mobile WiMax, IPv6 autoconfiguration (with focus on DHCPv6) and some of the mobility related mechanisms in the OMNeT++ environment.
A Mobility Framework (for OMNeT++ 3.x) extension that helps you model obstacles in your wireless network simulations. MF's existing mobility models may be used for moving obstacles as well. This extension also provides an SnrEvalWithFading module that incorporates Chsim, allowing a time-correlated and frequency-correlated Rayleigh-fading model to be used in your simulations.
This is a port of the Quagga routing daemon into the INET Framework. Quagga-based routers in a simulated network are configured using normal quagga config files. Author: Vojta Janota. Ported to OMNeT++ 4.0 by Andras Varga.

Host Identity Protocol (HIP) Simulation Framework for INET/OMNeT++ 4.x
This is a basic implementation of Ethernet Passive Optical Network by Andreas B. OLT and ONU modules are defined and they both suport one or multiple LLIDs. MPCP protocol has been implemented on OLT and ONU models to assign LLIDs dynamically.  Since it is under development, many features may be missing.
