[Omnetpp-l] How to debug INET under Linux?

Hi all,
   Here i use INET-20061020 for my wireless simulation,install under Ubuntu with
OMNeT++ 3.4b2,but when i meet a segmental fault,i need to debug this error, after
modify the Makefile under "bin/", and re-make 
to run under cmdenv,but when use GDB to debug this error,i have no idea,i type
 $gdb INET
 (gdb)r .../
  gdb can not start, maybe i should generate a excuteable file to run gdb with
it,but i do not know how to do this,if anyone knows,please help me in details,wait
for your response!
