[omnetpp] Defining own message

Hi All,
  I want to know if I can define fields of type bool and list in my own message. And, if possible, for example, I have "hasFragment" field of type bool, what are the accessor and mutator methods of it, do I need to define the methods by myself or they will be created automatically? Thanks a lot.
